The Face Off: Cleansing Oils

DSC02661

Hi everyone!

Here is another blogpost adding to my ‘The Face Off’ collection! Today I’m comparing two cleansing oils! Let me start by telling you that 5 years ago I had never even heard about a cleansing oil. I’m absolutely sure I wouldn’t have believed you when you told me I would like them one day! But now, I have to admit,  I am converted! At the moment I have tried   two different cleasing oils (but there are definitely more to come): one from The Body Shop and one from Boscia. Let’s see what the differences are!

Aesop Parsley Seed Cleansing Mask

DSC02679

Hi everyone!

Today I’m reviewing the Aesop Parsley Seed Cleansing Mask. It’s one of Aesop’s most popular products, but also a very pricey one. When I saw it in stores on my New York trip, I couldn’t resist and decided to try it out! So, does this mask live up to the hype and is it worth its money? Just keep on reading!

Thoughts on: First Aid Beauty

DSC02617

Hi everyone!

If you haven’t heard of the skincare brand ‘First Aid Beauty'(FAB)  I’m happy to introduce you! It’s an American brand that only uses ingredients save for sensitive skin! All their products are free from parabens, fragrances and other harsh chemicals. In my opinion it’s comparable to the brand Clinique, since they also stand for allergy tested non irritating products for people with sensitive skin! A while ago every beauty blogger was raving about the FAB ultra repair cream and the facial radiance pads, so ofcourse this brand was on my New York Sephora shopping radar. I decided to try out the travel size Facial Radiance Pads and the Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer!

The Face Off: Drugstore Baked Blushes

DSC02690

Hi everyone!

I thought it was about time to upload a new ‘The Face Off’ blogpost in which I compare two ‘kind off sort off’ similar products. Today I am comparing two drugstore baked blushes. I’ve been obsessed with a bronzed glowy make-up look for summer and think baked blushes are just perfect for the job! It’s great that drugstore brands have a rather good selection of baked products! I tried out the Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in shade 25 Alluring Rose and the Baked Powder Blush from Milani in shade 08 Corallina. Which one does the bronzed glowyness better? Keep on reading!

Kenya + Zanzibar Snapshots

DSC02316

Hi everyone!

2 weeks ago I was still in Africa, time flies! My family and I visited Kenya and Zanzibar on our summer holidays. We started our stay with a safari in the Maasai Mara. It was one of the most incredible experiences of my life! Our camp was always surrounded by wildlife. We saw giraffes, elephants, hippos, rhinos, zebras, impalas, … I never thought I’d see all the animals I wanted to! Afterwards we flew to Zanzibar for a chill week. Laying by the pool and enjoying the amazing palmtree filled view! It was a very relaxing stay.  While there we decided to visit the giant tortoises on Prison Island! I struggled a lot trying not to overwhelm you with hundreds of pictures, but eventually I managed to select my favorites. Let’s have a look!

In Flight Beauty Essentials

DSC02604

Hi everyone!

Today I’m back with a beauty related blogpost! Since I’ve been on vacation a lot last month, I had to take the plane several times. Sadly, the plane airco is not great for our skin, definitely on long flights it might be a good idea to bring some skincare with you. So, I thought it might be interesting to see what beauty bits I carried in my hand luggage!
